Why have a block party?
Contact info@mpcready.org for support. You may also text to 650-380-3028. Note: pre-planning appreciated. MPC Ready is a volunteer-based organization.
These are a great way to get neighbors together! For years, block parties have been held on national holidays such as National Night Out, July 4 or Labor Day. September is National Preparedness Month or National Good Neighbor day or September 28. See the ideas from the City of Saratoga!
- Block Party Toolkit — Districts 2-5
- Belle Haven or District 1 toolkits. These include information about applying for the Community grants. English and Spanish
Another good reason is a neighborhood change, such as someone moving in or out or a new baby! We can support your efforts. We have “booth in a box” materials that you can “check out.” A member of MPC Ready leadership team can attend too! We can also help you with refreshments and more. Contact info@mpcready.org to request support!
